A big smile from Singapore
It's been a week since I arrived in Singapore, so just some quick facts and thoughts:
- The city is amazing, it's totally changed since i last came here, but still as clean
- Went through an amazing induction week with my new fellow students from India, China, Pakistan, Indonesia, Philipinnes, Argentina, Norway, Malaysia, France etc etc. Lots of amazing people
- After having lived on campus for a few days, I finally managed to find an appartement closer to the city. I share it with my swiss mate Gregory...For my new contact details just send me a mail
-...talking about appartemets: of course we had to do a house inauguration party. Therfore we just invited the whole class which is about 50-70 people. It was just crazy.
- Tomorrow is Singapore's national day. The video you see below is the official song for this year's celebrations...although i find it very kitsch, it's interesting because in Western Europe nobody would dare to do such a thing, we prefer complaining...can you imagine such a video about Luxembourg??? Not really, don't you?
Keep on striving,
François
